If somebody tells me that it is a peaceful demonstration in Tibet. This is absurd.

When was the last uprising?  1956. 

What is this year?  2008

Why does something happen in the 52nd or 53rd anniversary but not the 50th anniversary?

It happens in this year (2008) because it is Beijing Olympics.

This is a well planned incident I think.  Somebody is gambling and try to good the world attention and want to get some political support for the West.  Since most people in the Western world don't know much about China but like to talk, talk and talk, they are used by others as a tool.

Having babies?

25% of my colleagues had babies last year.  85 to 90% of my colleagues have either one or more kids. 

Kids are everywhere.  This give me a lot of pressure.  People will ask me when I will have kids.  I don't know.

I had a few personal observations.  Those are just my personal opinions only.  I am not trying to offend anyone

1)  Kid is everything.  Yes, it is.  KID is treated like GOD.  Instead of praising God and fearing God, we praise kids.  As I mentioned in March 2007 blog.  Most churches if not all are CDC.  CDC stands for Children Driven Church.  All the programs are focused on kids.  Or parents are looking for churches that have good children programs.  We let kids wandering around in church.  We let them do whatever they wanted. 

2)  How many kids should a couple have?  This is a different question.  I think a couple can have as many as they want as long as they can teach them to walk in a good way and are able to support them.  If you can't teach your kid, PLEASE don't have more.  Please DON'T fill the world with criminals.  If you can't support them, PLEASE don't have more.  Please DON'T put the burden to another taxpayers who had no kids or only had one. 

3)  Since we worship kids, we create a lot of irresponsible kids.  Nowsaday, more and more crimes are done by youngsters.  You can say that they are affected by schools and peers.  But nevertheless, parents had to pay an important roles.   

I am sure when I become a parent, I will be the same way.  But please remind me what I wrote. 

World View

Different people have different worldviews.  We are all unconsciously framed in our worldview. 

A lot of people are looking for perfection, finding the perfect stuff, and living in a perfect world.  To me, we are living in an imperfect world.  It is just not perfect no matter you like it or not.  We are living in an imperfect world, to make the world perfect is an imperfect idea.

In my highschool year, I found out more about how the world is operated.  People can talk about all kinds of rules and human rights, but at the end of the day, it is just money.  People or countries are looking for their own interests and benefits.

Once I grasp this idea, I understand the world a lot better than I do. 

Hybrid? Recycling

I haven't been writing for some time.  If you read this, please give me some thoughts.

I heard a lot of people saying that they want to get a hybrid car because it is environmental friendly.  They thought that the cars are actually helping the Earth.  They don't mind paying for more.  But does hybrid car really help the environment?

I agreed with them that hybrid car has good mileage per gallon.  They can alteratively use electricity and gas.  However, the battery is a beating.  It takes tons of water to dissolve the battery which creates a lot of pollution, and the battery will not last longer (usually less than 3 years).  They hybrid car is not as good as you thought.

I don't know whether you have a habit of recycling.  I know you do, and you try to save the world for the next generations.  But what are the stuff we recycled?  Junk mails, magazines, plastic bottles etc.

Why do we recycle those stuff?  (It is because we don't need it)

Who creates those junks?  (The companies which send those trash to us.  They just keep sending and sending.)

Who should be responsible for cutting the trees and destroying the environment?  (You should have the answer.  I am sure it is not me)

What will be a better way?  (The party who creates the junks should stop doing it.  They should not keep on destroying the world.)

Why are we only heard people telling customers to recycle but no words on the companies which create them in the first place?  (Ha ha.  It is called "INTEREST or BENEFIT.")

What is "interest" or "benefit?"  I will explain in the blog "World View."

If there is no trash to recycle, a lot of companies will go out of busy.  If we don't have stuff to recycle, people will not feel satisfaction.  How many times you heard people saying that they are so proud of themselves because they recycled? 

If the companies stopped creating those trash, the politicians will have one less thing to tell about.

Purpose Driven Life (PDL) or Purpose Driven Church (PDC)

Nowadays, I think most churches are CDL.  If you know what C stand for, that's great.  If not, you can guess.  But C doesn't stand for christ.

I just moved to a new fellowship early this year.  There is still a lot to adjust. 

Parents just visited us for a month.  Pretty good.

Work will get busy next month.  By the way, if you see me.  Please don't say this " You must be busy because it is the tax season."  I NEVER work on tax related jobs AT ALL.  But people keeps asking the same questions even those that know me for years.
